Timing Therapy to the Brain: Neurochronology

Sale price$35.00

Have you ever noticed how some interventions fail, or simply do not land, in one moment, yet can be remarkably effective in another?

This seminar introduces neurochronology, a practical framework for understanding how different parts of the brain relate to time and the underlying mechanisms that govern those shifts. Different brain states are associated with different temporal orientations, shaped by nervous system activation, electrical patterning and the functional demands placed on the system.

Some parts of the brain are organised around survival and emotion. Other parts support reflection, planning and future-oriented action. When we miss these differences, we can offer insight when regulation is needed, or push for action when the nervous system is still organised around protection.

In this seminar, we will explore the brain’s different time zones, the mechanisms that drive them and the triggers that shift clients from one state to another.

You’ll learn how to:

  • understand the brain’s different time zones
  • recognise the mechanisms associated with different time states
  • identify the triggers that shift clients into survival time, emotional protection,
  • reflective time or future time
  • recognise when an intervention is being delivered into the wrong state
  • target interventions more effectively by matching them to the client’s current organisation

• Format: Live online via Zoom
• Duration: 90 minutes
• Investment: $35
• When: 1 July, 2025 (5PM NZ time / 3 PM Sydney time)
