Pursuer Avoider Couples Seminar

Do you feel like you're walking on eggshells in your relationship, never knowing when your partner will need space or affection? What if you can cultivate a relationship where both partners feel safe, secure, and loved.

The Pursuer Avoider Seminar helps couples understand the dynamic that brings many couples to relationship therapy.

When faced with one partner seeking closeness and emotional connection, while the other partner feels overwhelmed and withdraws, it can create a self-perpetuating loop where communication breaks down. As a result, both partners end up feeling frustrated and resentful. In order to address this, it is important to tap into the unconscious feelings that drive both pursuers and distancers. By coaching each partner to effectively communicate their emotions and needs, trust and understanding can be built, fostering greater emotional intimacy and connection.

Learning Goals:

  1. Explain the Avoider / Pursuer Dynamic
  2. Understand the dynamic from 4 perspectives
    1. A fight
    2. Expression of Attachment Style
    3. Difficulty Collaborating
    4. Bid for Unmet Childhood needs
  3. Making Pursuers and Avoiders better

Places are limited and available on a first come first serve basis.

There will be Q&A after the seminar. If you can’t attend, feel free to register and have digital access after the seminar material.
